Hyaluron-Filler Eye Cream

Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Eye Cream was formulated specifically to target ‘crows feet’ wrinkling in the delicate eye area. The formula with a combination of high and low molecular Hyaluronic Acid works on both existing and emerging wrinkles and additonally contains bio-active Glycine Saponin. SPF 15 plus UVA protection reduces premature ageing and the deepening of eye area wrinkles to leave the skin looking smoother and more youthful.

How To Use

Instructions

Apply around the eye area by carefully and gently massaging with the fingertips.
Avoid direct contact with the eyes.

Cleanse

First, cleanse skin with Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Mild Cleansing Milk.

Toner

Follow with Eucerin DermatoCLEAN Clarifying Toner to prepare skin for the following care product.

Eye Care

Dot a pea-sized amount of Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Eye Cream onto skin underneath and around the eyes. Gently massage into skin with fingertips, being careful to avoid direct eye contact. To intensify the wrinkle-plumping effects of Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Eye Cream, incorporate Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Day Cream, Night Cream and Concentrate as part of a daily skincare routine.

If sun exposure is anticipated, apply Eucerin Sun Fluid Mattifying SPF 50+ to protect from further photo-induced damage after applying the care product.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic Acid is formed by skin cells and is part of the connective tissue of the skin. One of its key functions is to retain moisture, and it has the ability to bind in between 1,000 and 10,000 times its own weight in water (i.e. one gram binds between one and ten liters). As we age, the skin's natural ability to produce Hyaluronic Acid depletes and wrinkles start to form and deepen.

Glycine Saponin

Glycine Saponin, also known as Glycine Soja Germ Extract, is an active ingredient extracted from the soya bean. It is one of the most effective stimulators of Hyaluronic Acid in cells in the dermal layer of skin and has been proven to increase Hyaluronic Acid production by up to 256% on cell level*.

How it works

At the heart of Eucerin’s unique Hyaluron-Filler formula is a unique combination of high and low molecular Hyaluronic Acid:

- High molecular Hyaluronic Acid (also known as long-chained Hyaluronic Acid) remains on skin’s surface to improve hydration in the outermost layer of the epidermis – where fine lines and winkles originate.
- The molecules in low molecular Hyaluronic Acid (also known as short-chained Hyaluronic Acid) are 40 times smaller 1 than those of high molecular Hyaluronic Acid and so it is able to penetrate further into the epidermal layers where it stimulates skin’s own production of Hyaluronic Acid.

In most of the formulas, Hyaluronic Acid is combined with bio-active Glycine Saponin which penetrates even deeper, into the dermal layers of skin, stimulating the production of Hyaluronic Acid and replenishing moisture where deeper wrinkles originate. Fine lines and wrinkles are noticeably plumped and skin is smoothed for a rejuvenated look.
