Cleanser for impure skin with 6% Ampho-Tensides
Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Cleanser is a daily gel, containing mild Ampho-tensides, for gentle yet effective cleansing.
Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Cleanser is a daily-use, soap-free and fragrance-free formula for gentle, yet effective, cleaning for impure and acne-prone skin. Containing 6% Ampho-tensides, it eliminates excess sebum (serbboreah) while removing dirt and make-up. Its anti-bacterial properties rid skin of bacteria and inhibit bacterial reproduction and, as it is non-comedogenic, it won’t clog pores.
Clinical and dermatological studies prove excellent skin tolerability and efficacy on patients with impure and acne-prone skin. A placebo-controlled study, on 90 16-46 year old male and female patients with acne vulgaris, was conducted over three-months in 1999. The study was to establish the efficacy of Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Cleanser, Toner and Night Care.

Acne is not a sign of poor bodily hygiene. On the contrary: too frequent cleansing of the skin with aggressive cleansing products can irritate the skin even more. Nevertheless, you should take care to cleanse your skin twice daily with a mild, nondehydrating facial cleanser in order to remove excess sebum, sweat and dead skin cells from the skin. One should, in any case, avoid "fiddling around" with your fingers on the acne symptoms.
Acne is not an allergic reaction to particular foods or external stimulation. Allergies manifest themselves characteristically in different ways and can thus be clearly identified as such.
Usually the acne symptoms get better with increasing age once you are past puberty. Although, some patients suffer from acne also after the age of 30. If you do not see an improvement, please contact a dermatologist.
Yes, all Eucerin DermoPURIFYER products can be combined with common acne therapy. If you are at all concerned, talk to your dermatologist, pharmacist or doctor before applying.
Although dirt isn’t a trigger for acne, it is important to cleanse skin twice a day with a mild, non-dehydrating facial cleanser in order to remove excess sebum, sweat and dead skin cells as well as any dirt and left-over make up. It’s equally important, however, not to over cleanse with aggressive cleansing products as this can irritate skin even more.
Yes. Genetic predisposition plays a large part in acne. If both parents suffered from acne during their adolescence, then there is a greater likelihood that their children will also develop acne.
Dr. Simone Presto responsible for product development at Eucerin, offers information and tips about the Eucerin DermoPURIFYER skin care line.
Eucerin DermoPURIFYER is a range of effective dermo cosmetic solutions for impure skin. Its ingredient combination addresses the four key factors of impure skin: hyperkeratosis (disrupted skin cell shedding), seborrhea (increased sebum production), microbial colonisation (increased bacteria proliferation) and inflammation of the skin. Eucerin DermoPURIFYER products have been proven in clinical and dermatological studies to be both effective and very good for skin tolerability.
