Melanin is a natural pigment that gives color to skin. Exposure to sunlight, hormonal influences and aging can cause an increase in melanin production and trigger hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation appears as dark patches and age spots (also known as sun spots) that make skin look uneven.
Eucerin Spotless Brightening Double Booster Serum brings together two serums that work in different ways:
- Thiamidol: an effective and patented ingredient that acts at the root cause of hyperpigmentation is clinically proven to reduce hyperpigmentation, preventing its re-appearance with regular usage
- Concentrated Hyaluronic Acid: one of skin’s most effective moisturizing substances helps skin to attract and retain moisture

How To Use
Instructions
• Apply once a day (morning or evening) to a well-cleansed face, neck and décolleté
• Press the middle of the top of the dispenser to ensure you release the same amount of both serums. When you first use the product, you may need to push three or four times before the serums appear.
• Gently massage into skin
• Avoid contact with eyes
• For best results, use in combination with EUCERIN Ultrawhite Spotless Day Fluid , EUCERIN Ultrawhite Spotless Night Fluid and EUCERIN Ultrawhite Spotless Spot Corrector
• Apply each product once a day. Use a maximum of four applications of products containing Thiamidol per day.

Thiamidol is a Eucerin patented ingredient. Ten years in development, this highly effective active is clinically and dermatologically proven to reduce dark spots and prevent their re-appearance.
Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic Acid is formed by skin cells and is part of the connective tissue of the skin. One of its key functions is to retain moisture, and it has the ability to bind in between 1,000 and 10,000 times its own weight in water (i.e. one gram binds between one and ten liters). As we age, the skin's natural ability to produce Hyaluronic Acid depletes and wrinkles start to form and deepen.
How it works
Thiamidol acts at the root cause of hyperpigmentation by inhibiting melanin production in skin so existing dark spots fade and fewer new dark spots form. For best results in terms or reducing hyperpigmentation we recommend that you use Eucerin Ultrawhite Spotless Double Booster Serum once a day and in combination with other products in our Ultrawhite Spotless range. The serum will still work if used with other moisturizers, it’s just that it may well take longer for you to see results.
If you experience hyperpigmentation but it is not your primary skin-aging concern then you may want to apply Eucerin Ultrawhite Spotless Double Booster before one of our anti-aging care products such as:

Yes, you can. Eucerin Ultrawhite Spotless Double Booster Serum is effective at boosting the results of the Anti-Pigment day and night creams on your whole face, neck and décolleté. Eucerin Ultrawhite Spotless Spot Corrector has been specially formulated to fade individual, smaller areas of concern. The two products work well together but you should only use a maximum of four applications of products containing Thiamidol per day.
You could use one in the morning followed by Eucerin Ultrawhite Spotless Day Fluid and the other in the evening followed by Eucerin Ultrawhite Spotless Night Fluid, or you could use both at the same time followed by the appropriate day or night cream. If you apply both together, use the serum first, then the spot corrector followed by the appropriate care product. -
Can I use Eucerin Ultrawhite Spotless Double Booster Serum instead of a moisturizer?
Eucerin Ultrawhite Spotless Double Booster Serum contains concentrated Hyaluronic Acid which improves skin moisturization. It has been formulated to boost the effectiveness of our pigment-reducing moisturizers. For best results we recommend that you use it in combination with other products in the Eucerin Ultrawhite Spotless Range.
Eucerin Ultrawhite Spotless Double Booster Serum does not protect skin from the sun. As the sun’s rays are a key contributor to hyperpigmentation it’s important to wear an appropriate sun protection product, even on cloudy days. We recommend that, if you apply Eucerin Ultrawhite Spotless Double Booster serum in the morning, you follow it with Eucerin Ultrawhite Spotless Day Fluid to help fade existing acne marks and protect skin from the sun, thereby reducing further sun-induced pigmentation issues. For intense sun exposure choose a higher protection factor from the Eucerin sun protection range.
